let's check in with dave spahr for the latest. i'd advise getting a second umbrella. want to look hard one for home. good morning air 7. good morning, everybody. you part of that radar is quite active this morning. >> it's actually going to break down the more of a spotty event as we get into later during the day today in some of the energy in the atmosphere may spark often isolated thunder shower. now because of what's coming our way the week ahead. this is from monday evening through wednesday, early. we have the flood watch that's in place. the warnings will pop throughout that. but that gives you an idea. this is for the new event. not we just been through the old one is gone. this is now for the new week. that's coming up. meanwhile, we're looking at winds. there's a high wind watch that's been posted. that also kicks and monday through very early on wednesday is when we're looking for all of that. again, this point it's a to watch. it tends to go to a high wind warning at that point. but even if it's a wind advisory with all the saturated ground, we may have som

dave spahr in the weather center tracking it all for us. good morning, dave.some breaks now starting to develop in the north a little bit down the peninsula as well. but there's yet another dose. >> upstream that will be anywhere near as potent as all of the stuff of the central valley, which was our past that we had earlier this morning going later into the future. how are things look a little better for most of the bay to get this break now, there you see the heavier stuff off to say tri valley and points to the east. there's a nice collection. there you see an alameda county and contra costa county as well. this is a shot in from the south bay kind of the stratus cloud cover that's going remain mostly cloudy is pretty much going to be the drill will get that lucky breaks, though, expected in the clouds, though, as early as tomorrow morning. the storm tracker for shows that into motion. we can see the general pattern. a look at the coverage area from northern california down to southern california. get familiar with this because from the bay area down south

got to dave spahr standing by with our forecast. the radar looks a lot calmer this morning, dave. yes, that sleeping in actually little bit. good morning, james and ari, good morning, that's way far peripherals there to the east over mountain snows occurring into the far east up there in tahoe. but basically everybody is turning off. it's now down in southern california where most of the action remains. and that's also in winter weather stuff is going on in those mountains in socal. so we still have left over this. i know it's only half hour, but this frost advisory up in northern california. still when temperatures really haven't budged too much in some pockets here like santa rosa. 39 40 ruffle for of allay most of the readings are in the mid 40's. now we're conditions will be starting to clear out a little bit as we talk about, but they'll be the return of some cloud cover because you get the sunshine that causes evaporation from radiation. a little bit absorbs the sun's heat and then bam, it smacks up against colder air upstairs, which isn't too far. so it will keep generating

we are back here in the weather center with dave spahr talking about the new drought monitor map get out of this week. yeah, this is the one week difference from last week to this week and in the break, dave and i were taking a look at last december right before the new year's eve storms that kicked this all off. it was all red across the state with the drought icons and now. >> yeah, you had on your monitor earlier now. i think it's around this area was like the bull's eye. yeah, it's just this terrible oregon. on gone we have lots of whites in here, which means we're pretty much where we should be in key places like central valley a lot of foods grown. but for most of the bay area, we are pretty much in the clear, you know, we don't waste any water, but ice were were going pretty good on that account. yeah. and what's interesting is i guess we're not i mean, we're not out of the the rainy season just we still have so right on the head. so this could even improve as we round out the month of march. in april, pluses are always say, james, you know, i called the bank account all of thi

dave spahr is in the weather center with the very latest. good morning, dave.there are. there is about an hour delay with some flights going on here with the fog in some. >> light drizzle going on. most of the action is up north. here it is yet again getting a good iran right now santa rose are extending up to santa rosa sonoma counties as well. that's where actually have a flood advisory that's going to be around until 5 this evening. meanwhile, the rest of the north bay is kind of clear temporarily. but with the progress of this from west to east, expect more throughout the north bay, elsewhere in the south bay, actually see the sun come out a little bit. there's you will see in the santa clara valley, just a touch there in a rain shadow by nature. but of course, that doesn't children tally rain, as you well know. temperature check for you right now. we have the lower to middle 50's someone on a mild note and we'll actually see highs in the lower 60's later today. winds, they're kind of calm, going to be a bit more active tomorrow that will have some breezy c
