crawford's meteorologist dave spahr. >> joins us in studio with a look at that. hey, vicki and grant, we have just some high cloudiness to make an appearance as we go into the overnight hours. but pleasant, it was today. >> and that will be near it again for tomorrow. except though we were probably see the intrusion of some thicker clouds in the morning hours and into the early afternoon before things back out again. here you have the arrival of some of those high thin clouds. it makes for a nice sunset, though. yeah. view from the east bay shoreline just before the sun leaves us for today. quick view of the temperatures. they're pretty hanging in the mid to upper 60's at this hour, even along the coast, not bad with pacifica at 65. we've got a 67 going on. as you can see, 66 rather san francisco temperance. 67. and it looks like 74 petaluma. the quick contrast that we have from yesterday. it's a cooler in spots as this hour than it was just 24 hours ago. and we're going to see a general trend of moisten up the atmosphere in a little bit more than intrusion of cl

dave spahr. he is in the weather center with the very latest. orning, theresa. good morning, everybody. and a cold start. it's been for us going on here with the dry air in place. and that's even with some winds in place as well. we're going to lose a little bit of the way. the winds briefly for tonight, just a touch and that will allow at least some wind children, areas adult humble temperature wise of the flag warning. that's what all weekend that covers just about the entire bay except for a little piece of geography. that kind of is there around the perimeter of the bait. if we can check into that, the red flag warning. there you have it and there to coverage just about everybody. technically it starts to kick in and some of the lower elevations later, it's not in place right now, but that gives you a general idea of what we're looking at for the balance of the whole weekend. and just that little area down to the santa clara valley, not in that. but what they're really watching is human activity on all of this because it's really only the ver

meteorologist dave spahr is with us now to tell us a little bit. >> grant and vicki, it's a pretty goodt that we had there. it's a no interference going on from any fog. and that will be probably the story tomorrow, but or interference will actually come for some cloud cover aloft going forward in the morning hours and breaking up for the afternoon here you have a little shot from the embarcadero. looks pretty good at that temperature check for you. we're already seeing some 40's already dublin. 47 east bay shoreline. you can see lower 60's for alameda. 57, meanwhile, for oakland up here, the north bay, they're mostly into the 40's at this hour. now, timber on 59, though, and 65 for san francisco. next 3 hours making notice some of those scattered basically high clouds with temperatures holding mostly into the 40's, not going to move too much from this point. but here's the traffic, which is very different from what we had over the weekend. now coming onshore, not at the surface, but aloft at the surface, it's more still kind of it offshore. it's keeping us dry, the surface, but aloft.

let's get you started with a look at the weather with dave spahr. good morning, dave. well, good morning, stephanie. good morning. everybody can barely see you over there. so much fog going on this morning at the ground levels in as well. and we have some clear patches working that magical out. some last-minute cooling as it is. typically a little cooler today than it was. >> yesterday morning, in contrast to the day before it but aloft, we have some patches of clear going on. so it's just kind of a local phenomena, right at the surface level. it's not so much what's going on a lot with all of this. so with all of that in place, we have a dense fog advisory covering the coast. san francisco also up in the north. it's hard to make out there a little bit now that chunk up there up to the north bay. you see there in napa. sonoma counties that's going to be around until about 11 this morning. san francisco along the coast of the peninsula. you'll probably see that break up by 10 this morning is what we're looking at now. here's what it does look like in the projections. yo
