joining us now to talk more about the weather there are is meteorologist dave spahr. it's great to have these resources going to help them out. but they need everything they can get to help. >> yeah, there are some traversing systems to look out for one. that's going to be our backyard to come across texas on 14 does look like real juicy in terms of they could use a nice cold rain. unfortunately could be some thunder shower action with that, too, which were very, very familiar with. but going show you what that stands like right now. the actual map itself there you have all that green on there. that means potential thunder showers. would much which you see in terms might get some afternoon showers and thunder showers. but the texas panhandle is relatively inactive from this. but we expect subsequent systems to drop south, bringing some rain, even some snow showers up to the texas panhandle. that itself doesn't help too much, but at least some colder air. but conditions remain quite dries. the beautiful pictures, east bay shoreline all lit up now and some shredded stra

we have meteorologist dave spahr with us here on this monday to go over what's happening in the weather. it well, justine, it looks like a it's a little bit more. spooky looking are a little bit more cloud cover from this shot here, the east bay shoreline, hazy sunshine. what kind of call it? >> probably better effort, though, in the clearing tomorrow as we get some temporary relief from this high pressure zone temporary because this guy's going to take over by midweek. it's fast mover. top to could you see we'll get a little pop of winds with all of that. highs were temperatures right now. close to a high 64 antioch, 59 livermore, but 60 space shoreline with 64 up to santa rosa. back to those winds. by the way, here's how we stand right now on shore into the teens. when you're in the shade or when a cloud over you, it feels a little bit on the chilly side temperatures been struggling in the a locations, particularly along the coast, breaking things down getting the evening. we're see temperatures fall into the lower 50's by 10 o'clock. tonight and we might see some patches of some, you

blustery up there. 4 meteorologist dave spahr joins us now with a little bit on what we saw and what's to >> ok, granted, we are still seeing the same type of pattern. there was some leftover moisture in some of those higher elevations, probably still getting some winter-like weather as the freeze line is somewhat about. 2500 feet this mount tam. so you get up there about near 3,000 feet or so. it's possible that could be a snow mixture thrown in there, not a guarantee it holds to the ground, but hey, it's happening over the weekend. we did get a little bit of the incidences of also some sleet around else sobrante too, with all of this up mixture of what's going on now. for now, though, we still have kind of a variable cloudy scenario, more cloudy than not, although a little clear patch to make an appearance. you can see a few hours ago, a couple little leftover splotches of rain yet to be had further from home. there's the low and boys. that kinda thing to take its sweet time. it's taking longer and longer to find the play out. but it looks like it's taking more of a southerly path wh

we've got dave spahr in the weather center. hey james and darya. good morning. good morning. everybody still kind of working on some of this haze of the surface, though there's our inversion checking in right above. it is the dry air, but it's also a little warm, too. so it's hard to get that lifted in mixed out a little bit sore like a hot air balloon a little bit going on. what we have right now is some high cloudiness that will kind of intruder little bit throughout the day today. but the real earnest weather is going take a while to drop in the town. that will be on friday with the rain we've been talking about right now. already up to 61, antioch, not wasting anytime at all are more checks. and 51. 49, a cool spot there for fremont elsewhere. the 40's are pretty much contained in the north bay. 54 for half moon bay. 55 meanwhile for san jose. so the deal upstream we're talking about happens on friday afternoon into the evening hours and then another punch for saturday. it looks like, but it looks like a nice break happening on sunday. maybe a couple of scattered showers
