meteorologist dave spahr is here now to let us know what the winds are doing. >> okay. all right. now we're dealing with some warm to hot temperatures going on. well, in that we did talk about some of those out lower 90's working here. we're going to see more of that come tomorrow as well. look at this picture coming in from half moon bay, nyce cobalt blue. how about that action? not bad, but it is chilly. there's a look at your winds out of the northwest and being felt even in half moon bay. that's kept temperatures down and that will be the case for tomorrow to. so we have a big difference going on here where the coast is struggling in the upper 50's to inland some lower 90's. so that's going to drive the thermal gradient. that contrast is going to drive some more wins for us tomorrow. even at this hour, pacifica, 64, half moon bay. by the way, 55 92 for brentwood. and you can see even the east bay shoreline, plenty of 70's at this hour with cool 70 relatively speaking san francisco for lows tonight. we've got about 53 going on 4 oakland, 52 of the santa rosa about 58 san jose w

we have dave spahr in the weather center with details on the snow in may. bad. >> we've got going on even in yosemite national park is the snow kind of hang around a bit. fresh snow. my dad, not just the old ice that was around before we have the ice before. but now we add to this and what's nice is it's the stuff we're going to be later on for central valley when this starts to melt and fill up the creeks into rivers and all that stuff. good news is we do have a heat pump like we had before, but nothing too nothing too major. we don't want too much melting too quickly for talking about. they are in numbers this week being in the 90's. they would cause too water being released to quickly here. look at the numbers, by the way, 4 54 going on for wednesday thursday about 59 a look ahead back on the home front. we're at 59 by 11 o'clock by 10, partly cloudy, a 53. we do see some fog developing cover, san francisco and off towards the coast of the peninsula. bit. then later on, we'll see cloud cover for the south bay and some of that fog for some of the valley's

the 7 o'clock talking about the forecast with dave spahr over in the weather center. out there? well, good morning, michael. good morning. everybody. and were treated some fog one on this morning. actually, a fog advisory happening at the coast and other covers portions of san francisco, even though >> some of the shots we have for you looking pretty dandy at that. going to a hot summer i mean, for did here's a look at half moon bay. this is one of the places where the fog advisory is. you can see it pulling away with low tide at places. well, nice calm. see where all at. that's very picturesque for you. and most of the traffic, the pacific. well, this is to zoomed-in, but it's really going up in around us. those big lows are dipping to the south the way we see before. although we do see some interesting rotation start to happen later on during the week. that will provide what would have been some light rain showers in this case is just going to be some cooling effects from the wind pattern we have mid to upper 50's across most of the east bay for right now. 67 going

we have meteorologist dave spahr in the weather center now with details on what's going on. but the golden gate there still still great. yes, because i want to point out the micro climates, they're how you doing justine. good a good day, everybody and the weather checking in for today's you reference sfo opening up. we see that happening in san francisco as well. >> but you get right across this area here. this is where the fog. it's strapped it somewhat typical because this brings in the marine layer. that's where it has the least resistance, no land to go over red cross that straight the bridge itself and go off to the east bay. well, there you see the fog trying to peel off a little bit there in marin county. but for the most part, we're looking pretty good across most of the bay looking at here this the visible satellite picture. so all the whites that you see here, that's cloud cover. but it's also in this case, fog there you see along the coast a bit. also up north, nothing in the east bay. now, let's take a little bit. they're hanging around solano county a little bit

here we have dave spahr us.can talk about what's going on in the weather. >> you know, even find the fog a lot today. a just and i know we've been i know. well, that's right. and i want to be a downer day here. but look at the golden gate bridge, although some patches of blue making its way out there, the golden gate. yeah, a lot of fog hang in here. kind of overcast. there is the flag to its do it, sir. little thing there. a lot of kinetic here's the breakdown for us. 68 by 7, 10, we're at 50 some clear mean inland. but you'll get plenty of a fog by that point in this could be ground fog is going to make it into the inland valleys as well. so tri valley, you probably have some ground fog tomorrow morning that will burn off pretty quickly. but around the bay, that's more problematic and it will cost us highs like it did today. we're still struggling in the 60's on the east bay shoreline. 71 fremont 80 already for antioch. a lot of upper missed middle 70's working here, as you can see, well inland with 60's and 7

we have dave spahr with here week they're on treasure island about that.there to is it is it sweet and treasure island that that the flag flap and all that. and then meanwhile, the golden gate yeah, the fog. so it's a it varies depending on the part of the bay or in. >> unfortunately, taking a look at this here, get a little nervous about the weekend, meaning it may be a while to get that fog to clear. but if got a low right, the backyard that provides all that lift and the marine layer hard to get rid of bouncing radar. real quick. where is in the mountains? don't worry. it's not here. up to tahoe. just south of that on a mammoth lakes. and there you can see in some cells pretty intense with lightning going on, pea size, hail, heavy downpours and winds have been clocked at about 40 miles per hour. this all came in from the east and it goes over the this when it comes to west es too. and that helps produce some of those showers and some of those thunder showers that will dissipate when news daytime heating in drifts over the central valley. 83 antioch, we'

let's get you started with a look at the weather with dave spahr. need a a good morning, stephanie.hat will happen is you'd expected inland, but we're seeing much better clearing in the north bay from the very beginning. the problem areas will be down south and the south bay, you probably won't get some clearing happening until maybe around noon this afternoon. here's a shot of the east bay shoreline. we're finally starting to improve here. but we have to lift that fog and then get rid of it entirely. not just make overcast. traffic in the pacific, that states all towards our north will be high pressure zone. that will be more of a player in our forecast later in the week. and yes, that means temperatures will be bumping up lot of 50's for the east bay. 61, san jose, 60 for antioch. but the 50's prevail in the north bay and lower 50's san francisco. also for half moon bay comparison to yesterday were close. a couple degrees ahead. still for much of the breath of the bay, little cooler in some spots. so you can see up north. so lets try about 61 at 1 o'clock again. still working on t
