fire encroaching into the communities livermore and moving into santa cruz county, the community of davenport is still threatened but the fire is subsiding along the coastline slightly but still exists. as we move around into the area closer to felton, border creek, the fire has crested above those communities and has moved its way down to highway 9 just north of the community there, and we have resources and pen tphel in those areas actively fighting fire and protecting structures and performing structure defense operations as we speak. we have had a lot of opportunities to save a number of striuctures, and a lot of had work by our firefighters working extra long shifts and we are ads area possible to protect those structures. we have evacuations in play for the past number of days and that helped us tremendously by getting the guys out of the area, and having to get to where the structures are without having to be concerned about the citizens trying to escape. we do face challenges for folks that have stayed, and it's a problem with those issues, so if you are evacuated please stay evacuate

davenport is looking really good. today they were working on re-energizing the electricity back to the community. a lot of work along highway 1 by pg&e as well as cal trans to make sure the road is safe to pass. our line to the south continues to hold. looks really good. that's protecting santa cruz and the uc campus. i was there about an hour ago. it looks solid and we're comfortable with that. in particular we'll start seeing the weather change, a northerly push of the wind moving into this weekend so i feel comfortable that will hold and what we also did with the wind blowing on that, a wind test. the lines will hold based on the wind. to us that's a great measure of success because it means that that fire is extinguished and lines are doing what they're supposed to do. felton is looking really good. we have good line around three-quarters of it and continuing to put line up through the highway 9 corridor behind ben lomond. a lot of crews in. we received a few more hand crews come in and they are working. we put th
