i want to thank allen and jonah for having us here today, and thank you for being here. when i first was contacted by david several years ago i was still on the job. i've been retired a little over two years. we discussed and he told me what he wanted to do. at that time i was the assistant director of investigations. this is right in the wheelhouse. later became the associate overall ops division. took it over there with me and kept in contact with david, and then when i retired, we continued with it. one of the reasons i decided it's a worthwhile thing is that i spent -- i actually spent part-time deputy marshal for three years, i spent over 33 years in the marshal service, and everywhere i went i was introduced myself as a marshal, and they would recognize the name, next question was, what do you do? i just heard that constantly. this year, in september 24th, the marshal service celebrates its 225th year anniversary and we're still getting asked, what do you do? i know what the marshal service does, as we all do. and there's a story to be told and a lot of great things. i ended up running all of operati
