just as things are calming down the milwaukee county sheriff david clark says the president would talke that keeps stirring up the pot. you don't like that. what is he saying wrong you didn't like? >> well, the convoluted message. why can't he just stop when he says the overwhelming majority of law enforcement officers do a great job, period, the end. then he goes and makes the statement about police officers have problems or target people who don't look like them, and that's a myth. he said there are studies. there are no studies that suggest that. this is not a training issue. we don't train law enforcement officers to racially profile. we don't train law enforcement officers to target people. what we train officers to do is target behavior. are there biases in society? everybody has biases. i'm biased against criminals and criminal behavior. but that doesn't mean i'm going out every day on the street like law enforcement officers all across the country and engaging in this nefarious conduct to target black males just because they're black. he might believe that. but i don't. >> now,

. >> sheriff david clark, thank you, sir. >> you're very welcome. >>> you are watching cnn, i'm brooke baldwin, more breaking news here out of new york. as we were just discussing with the sheriff out of wisconsin, police have now arrested three men in a shooting of those two nypd officers who were offduty. initially, one officer was listed in critical condition. but the latest word we have here at cnn is that both men are now stable. but talk about just a tragic start to this new year for this particular police department after a just gut wrenching ending to 2014. you know the story about the two officers who were murdered in december for simply being law enforcement. that's according to investigators. but this latest shooting appears to be connected to a crime. now, the mayor of new york city is hailing the commitment of the officers who were shot they had just ended their shifts when this armed robbery call came in. and instead of leaving, instead of going home, these two officers said joined the search for the suspect. evan perez joining me here with more on this. before we get to

milwaukee county sheriff david clarke saw this video and wanted to weigh in.hink about what we know so far. he was being arrested. decides to run. drops something to the side said to be a gun. he wouldn't stop so the officer shot. your review? >> just from looking at the tape, i know there's more involved. that's a good shoot. in legal speak it's a justifiable shooting. there will be more investigation. there's something else here about the naacp that needs to be said. this once proud organization that was a force for good has relegated itself into irrelevancy irrelevancy. i challenge anyone to name the last significant accomplishment that the naacp achieved in the united states for people of color. i would probably say it was the 1964 civil rights act and since then this organization has become nothing more than a political propaganda entity for the left. so let's break this down in terms of what the naacp should be focused on and they can get this discussion started in the black community because we need to have it. it's the behavior of our young black men.
