virginia, cross the key bridge at our four mile cheering mark, go over to hanes point where we saw david culver around the monument. this is the memorial monuments marathon if you will, the people's marathon. it is the largest of its kind in the country where there is no prize money and drives people from all over the country, indeed, all over the with a new york racer for the men, a woman from costa rica for the woman. the 10k is starting about an hour later. 8:55, because of all of the metro safetrack concerns this morning. metro was late out of the gate. they did not open earlier as they usually do. this is just a sea of runners. i have never seen it this packed even though the numbers this year are lower because of metro, but the colors are amazing, a spectacular sunrise this morning and everybody is loving the weather right now. maybe an hour from now it may be too warm for them. but there are ten hydration stations along the way and they are definitely going to have to stay hydrated throughout this marathon this year. what a sight with all of the flags. colors so their families can find t
