let's talk about it with david gergen former adviser to four presidents.sudden an agreement, a framework, do you believe what we know of it? or do you believe the u.s. gave up too much? >> it could be a very good deal for the united states. we have to withhold final judgment until we see the details. also in the larger parts of the agreement and there are many pieces of this agreement that have not been resolved. let's start with the basics. if we were to get an agreement and if it were to work as advertised it would be a major step forward. instead of having an iran which is very close to be able to develop a nuclear weapon or breakout time is thought to be two to three months, if this deal were to work as advertised it would extend that time to a a year year. . that would give the international community and israel more time to respond and be tough on iran. so if it were as advertised the real issue here is we don't know if it's going to work. we don't know a lot of the details. there are a lot of things that are not left there. the thing we don't know i

. >> david gergen joins us malika henderson. >> you hear about hillary clinton being reintroduced again and the campaign going, we're in a van, she's eating almonds and stopped off at a chipotle. it's an attempt to show she's a real person she's just like everybody else. is that a message she can really pull off? >> i think it's smart for her, anderson she has to show more warmth to try to connect more with average americans, she needs to come out of the bubble she's been living in with a lot of powerful people. i think the idea behind it is a very good one. how they're executing it i think -- a lot of questions can legitimately be raised to have a -- the announcement yesterday be basically content free. a stinging piece in the washington post today, and then she's taking this road trip to iowa and she goes in to chipotle we thought that's what this was all about, she wears sunglasses she's not recognized she's basically in disguise. >> they pulled the security camera footage to see that she was actually there. >> so it's bizarre to me but -- i assume they'll get their rhythm and have m

david gergen is back with us former adviser to four presidents. thank you both for being here.how the first week has gone for hillary clinton. martha you wrote a fascinating op-ed. you think she's been really evidentive to the video and the tour around iowa. >> the marketing has been evidentive effective. in terms of how she's presented to the public in changing the orientation of her relationship to the consumer from i to we. and i think that was the central strategic challenge for what they needed to do with the launch. make it about the voter and not about hillary and use the marketing tools at their disposal to position her as a more accessible and connected and frankly softer candidate to voters. >> here's what you write, quote, what we know is that over time voters see a lot of unscripted moments of a candidate where the real character comes through. if they spot hypocrisy between ads and the candidate, that campaign will get in trouble fast. is that the real danger you're seeing for clinton? >> i think if they launch an exceptional marketing campaign which it seems like
