david campos today in this past half hour has started his seventh year in the board of supervisors and has shown remarkable grace. i admire his work across the political spectrum here in san francisco on the board of supervisors, but also he serves in regional government and has been a great advocate for san francisco and that process. last year we know that he was part of a race that was very contested for the assembly and he's shown that he has significant base of support around san francisco people who really believe in his work, in his effort his legislative effort has been something that's been very admirable, especially last year as well. we saw great pieces of legislation that came out that was really addressing where san francisco's at with our affordability crisis. his vision of leadership is something that can unite the board of supervisors together to show that we are going to be committed to making san francisco the diverse city that it truly is it so it's with great pride that i nominate him for board president and hope to have your support, colleagues. thank you. >>thank
