david washington is an amazing actor. you might want to check that out. that's your "pop start" today. >> way to go >> great excellent. carson, look who's waiting for us kelly smoke sitting like a blanket across the bay area. today marking the 28th straight spare the air day. the number of days now nearly twice the old record. meteorologist kari hall is tracking those conditions. how soon do we think we'll see some relief here in the bay area? >> we should see some improvement by tomorrow. but today it's still pretty unhealthy. we've been looking at the shift in the wind direction. it could bring in at least some improvement for today and later this evening. as we look at our forecast, we're going to see temperaturewise, a warm-up with some mid-80s. we'll have to watch those temperatures and windcae we do a few fires burning across the state. as we go toward the end of the week, a cooldown but check out the weekend. some of our inland areas will reach into the mid to upper 80s. for san francisco, there also will be a slight warm-up possibly. a little less in the way of fog by wednesday. but then we'll see it returning by the end of the weekend. end of the w
