so our future is very bright >> lance, david faber here a quick diversion to vaccine mandates i'm curious, we had gary kellyencouraging them. you are and seem to be in a dispute with your unions update us in terms of your progress given you have a december 8th deadline to get everybody vaccinated. >> yeah. let's be clear, we are following through on president biden's vaccine mandate for federal contractors. we've looked at that very deeply and we believe it's a lawful executive order and we are a federal contractor so we think it's an obligation for us to comply with it there are some of our employees that aren't happy that the federal government is mandating they get a vaccine we're working with those employees. but setting all that aside, december 8th is the date that the executive order notes as having all employees federal contractor vaccinated. that doesn't mean that there's something that's immediately going to happen on december 9th. we're definitely encouraging our employees to comply with that vaccine mandate and making it very easy for them to do so. >> yeah. it's a conversation worth having with

david, great to have you back today. i tend to think of you as more of a deflationist generally, but what does it mean in the current landscape? >> well, i think, kelly think janet kind of said it as well as i could. i think the idea we are losing control of it after coming out of a decade where we couldn't generate inflation more than 2%, in fact i think we averaged 1.3% or 1.4% over the last decade before covid with one of the best labor markets in 50 years, i think it is a really tough sell to say we are going into something like a significant period of even much higher than 2% inflation, or even modestly higher than 2% inflation i'm sort of still stuck in the camp that charlie evans seems to be stuck in, which is that none of these supply disruptions really tell me that we have the tools yet to be able to generate that north of 2% inflation on a sustained basis. i think people are way ahead of themselves, and in particular jack dorsey. a very smart guy, a great tech guy. i'm not sure i look to him for my inflation predictions >> the way i'm trying to think about it, and i think jeff curry has been good on this at goldman talking about physical de

>> david problem for bars and bart passengers as 3 people actually died on their bart system on the bart trains just this past week. all of them suspected drug overdoses, kron four's. maureen kelly more on this ongoing problem. >> the most recent death believed to be drug related happened here tuesday night at the pleasant hill bart station. according to bart police logs and sfo bound train was held as bart officers responded to a report of an unresponsive male bart passenger. they administered narcan which can reverse an opioid overdose, but it didn't work. and the man identified as 36 year-old frank sanders, the 4th of richmond was declared d o a the other 2 fatal suspected d's happened monday. a man was found not breathing at the daly city bart station just after 10:00am medics were unable to revive him. the san mateo coroner has identified that man as 34 year-old william hogarth and describes him as trans. and then later just before 05:00pm during the evening berryessa bound train was stopped at the fremont station for another unresponsive man. again, narcan was administered, but it didn't save him. he has yet to be identified that's a lot of his scary all bart police person
