uh, the uh, the guardian june was david lee and luke harding. interesting, the julian developed some tools that allowed the reduction of these boss strows of information such as a program that would look for that, use the dictionary to search these these will files and will logs for problem nouns and would take out those names. so he was at the full front of this process of reduction. and at the time journalists who are working with in said the people inside the traditional news rooms were actually more reckless than julian was. when it came to rejecting these names. and as for more bad guys in the story, is it? well, we knew that, um, uh, did you need don't shape a guy who double called, you know, on the early days he destroyed perhaps valuable cables. it would have given us an insight into the so called war on terror in afghanistan and iraq, world l. so to be destroyed or was nothing really destroyed as part of the pre, the, i know how to get on to discovery, which is an element of supply deal as well. but to what was this had to be destroyed.

that's right, loo cutting and david lee who rushed out a book about the wiki leaks league, so the village and all that, they rushed out this book and one of the chapter headings was a password to the encrypted file of the diplomatic cable set up. and that was the password the julian had given them even had, there was an element of that possible called a salt. and julian explained to them this element, you can never write down, you can never share. because that sort of gives the possible even more strings having that sold element. and these journalists, you know, in the recklessness or published the whole password to this encrypted file. and so from that, from that chapter hitting the defraud tug was able to research and find out that that was the possible to the encrypted file. and then crypt on the website run by john young. a us website group time dot old was the 1st to publish the i'm rejected a cable set. so julian and wiki legs, one, even the 1st to publish. this is unproductive cable set. and i think that part of the education process that we've been doing in this campaign is tellin

david lee noticed some changes to his vision so thinking he needed glasses, he went for an eye test whichtician after experiencing double vision. ijust turned a0 actually, and i thought, maybe ijust need some glasses. so, you know, a trip to go get my eyes checked out turned into a rare one in a million bone cancer. david had no other symptoms, but the optician sent him immediately to moorfields hospital a&e. it emerged he had a hard to spot, slow growing cancer, chordoma. so i had three surgeries in six months and then the proton beam radiation to kind of mop up the rest. so that's your right eye. so the blind spot was central between the two, presumably. the charity bone cancer research trust has been supporting david through his recovery. chordoma is quite rare and it's quite difficult to spot. it presents at the base of the skull, along the spine, at the base of the spine. it's no exaggeration to say that in this instance, spotting it at this early stage may have saved david's life. starting him on that life saving path back in early 2020 was the optician at tottenham court road who r

lee, thanks so much. let's discuss with my panel, david chalian, let me start with another interesting part of this new cnn poll that shows harris actually fares better than biden some key voting groups tell us about that. >> yeah, i mean, we took a look at young voters, black voters, hispanic voters, female voters, just as four key demographic building blocks are democratic candidate. and we're biden had been showing significant erosion from his 2024. will you see here is whereas donald trump was seven percentage points ahead of biden in the spring with young voters kamala harris has now four points ahead. when joe biden had a 47 point advantage in the spring over trump with black voters kamalaharris now has a 63 point advantage. donald trump at a 9% point advantage among hispanics over i didn't now that's down to two points. and you see that kamala harris is a five point advantage over trump among female voters when it was tied back in the spring, i would just note here, this is a critical step for her to sort of bring in the democratic party together in this way. but as you could see here for the hispan
