david mattingly has the latest from los angeles from us. if we talk about the toxicology reports, i know in michael jackson's case, which was, you know, the last big icon to die, those toxicology reports took three months for us to actually get the results. >> that's right. we're looking for at least a month. we're talking six to eight weeks before the toxicology reports come back in this case. there were so many reporters gathered here yesterday when the coroner came out to make a statement, so many questions about what kind of drugs were found at the scene, what kind of drugs might have been involved in this case and everyone walking away with very few answers at all. listen now to what the coroner had to say. >> i know there's reports that she maybe was drowned or did she overdose, but no, we won't make a final determination until all the tests are in. there was no visible signs of trauma and foul play is not suspected at this time. >> reporter: now you heard what the coroner there was able to confirm, that there were no visible signs of

>> hold on, david mattingly. i want to go to paul in carson city.are counting the ballots in carson city. you have access to this with the only effort that is going to see how the folks in carson city are voting and gingrich 12 and santorum 15. and 19 for santorum and 20 for paul. as we whip around, let's get a look at our campaign. you can see that the ballots are pouring in. there's 24 precincts here in carson city, wolf. what you have is about 12,000 republicans in this area. about 10,000 democrats. this county did go for john mccain in the last election. so it will be interesting to see how everything shakes down. it looked to be at least 50%. all the precincts appear to be that way tonight. so far romney, of course, is doing the best as we've heard. he flooded this northwest part of nevada, made a lot of stops. all the candidates seem to be registering to a degree and i hear ron paul in my ear. they've got a lot of ron paul supporters here as well as gingrich supporters and santorum. what everyone is seeming to say, this is a super bowl for the

. ♪ and i will always love you >> cnn's david mattingly outside of the coroner's office there in los geles. david, cops say it will be weeks probably before cause of death is released, right? >> that's right. six to eight weeks. we're told it's pretty standard for cases like this because those labs have a lot of cases they are working on, and they have to be very careful when they go through these tests to make sure they get it right. but the answers they are looking for are ones that the coroners are not even trying to answer right now about what caused whitney houston's death. they did tell us some very important things. they told us that there was no foul play involved. so this is not a murder case. and no signs of trauma. no physical injuries associated with her death. so we do know that she was found in the bathtub of her hotel room in los angeles. we also know that the paramedics on the scene tried to revive her with cpr but were unable to do that. so right now we are waiting for those tests to give us the all-important answers, and for the coroners to come forward with their of
