liz: let's welcome to the show the ruben report host he's david ruben.ck on, sir. what was your reaction to trump 's arraignment today? these are serious charges. what do you think? >> yeah, well, i think on the surface i'm feeling what most people are feeling, which is that there seems to be a persecution of the prosecution here, in that there is an asymmetry. we know that joe biden as vice president had declassified or had classified documents. we know that mike pence did. now when you're vp you don't even have that right to have them in the first place or declassify them. trump was actually president. that does not excuse anyone's behavior but i think most people right now are seeing, you know, one set of rules for trump and one set of rules for everyone else. that being said, it does sound from this indictment like there is some legitimate stuff here. i mean, if this is correct, which is in the indictment, i have it right in front of me actually, that he showed classified documents to a member of one of his political action committees, one of his pac

david. well, just ahead of the 4th of july holiday, authorities discovered tens of thousands of pounds of illegal fireworks in san jose. san ruben joins us now live with the details. and two men were arrested in connection with this discovery. yeah. authorities say that it was the investigation into a fire at a storage facility earlier this month that led to the confiscation of all those illegal fireworks, as well as two arrests. now, the fire happened back on june 14th, and it was massive. it engulfed the public storage facility on blossom hill road in san jose. authorities believe it was either started by or exacerbated by a huge amount of illegal fireworks. an investigation by the police department's assault unit identified two suspects. anthony da silva and nathaniel velasquez. further search warrants then turned up about 38,000 pounds of illegal fireworks, as well as methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, cash and at least one semiautomatic firearm. the boxes of fireworks filled storage units and other buildings at that same facility. i'm proud of the san jose police department's assault unit. 38,000 pounds of illegal firewor
