david spunt is watching that from d.o.j. justice department now. what do you have?ort of a story behind the scenes but a big story. clock is ticking loudly for democrats to get these federal judges confirmed before president biden leaves office on january 20th. judiciary chairman durbin said he only thinks they can get 15 or 20 more done. since biden took office in january of 2021, 261 judges have been nominated, 213 have been confirmed. today there are 25 in the pipeline awaiting confirmation. president can keep announcing judges over the next month or so but have to be confirmed by the senate. a democratic-led senate before republicans take over. karine jean-pierre was asked about this yesterday calling on republicans to work in a bipartisan fashion and help confirm some of the nominees before the administration signs off. future president donald trump says no judges should be approved during this period of time because the democrats are looking to ram through their judges as republicans fight over leadership. this is not acceptable, thank you. when trump left off
