ktvu's david stephenson joins us live and david what happened? >> reporter: well, good afternoon tori. it happened just past the overpass. you can see behind me over there, this is being called an industrial accident. we were told earlier one person dead and another with severe injuries at a granite company just again beyond that overpass where there were fire trucks on the scene up to about 15 minutes ago. this is the site of a company called cgi granite. it's listed as a granite wholesaler. the fire department tells me they got the call about 10:30 this morning and when they responded they found shattered chunks of granite and at least two severely injured workers. >> seems we have an industrial accident that they were unloading some granite off the -- the trucks. and it looked like it slipped and several people were crushed underneath the granite. >> reporter: and the latest update we're hearing from the fire department is that two people were indeed killed. one of them had been transported to the hospital with severe injuries. it appears he o
