so, where does this one meeting, david, fit into the big picture? >> right, wolfions and flynn met with kislyak, gorkof, donald trump meeting, having this big meeting we've all been talking about. even though you have no ironclad evidence of criminality, you are just starting to see this cloud build of meetings with russians and nondisclosure, and it just makes the trump administration's narrative that there's nothing to see here disintegrate into thin air. clearly there is a pattern and it's just going to drive investigators and congress to look into this even further. >> can i just throw in one other meeting? remember, the most, probably the most alarming meeting was the one that happened after the election when there were discussions between kushner allegedly and the russian ambassador about setting up a back channel to the kremlin. so, if that did not get the white house to say, wait a second, maybe this person shouldn't have a security clearance, you know, i don't know that this campaign related meeting is going to. i mean, they have just decided that they do

. >> david, reince priebus kept saying tonight to wolf that the president wants to go in a different direction but couldn't describe what that is. for all we know, there is no new direction, it's just simply a dissatisfaction with reince priebus. >> and it's at odds with the notion that the direction that they had been going for six months is as successful as reince or the president was trying to describe it. that line stuck out to me too, anderson. we don't know what direction it is. you laid it out perfectly, what this week was all about. it was about exposing a white house that seems incapacitated. that totally is dysfunctional, not able to execute on an agenda, because of all the various items you mentioned, just in this week. and i think what we saw today in the culmination with the change in the white house chief of staff, that may go some distance when john kelly gets this there to calm some of the waters underneath. this is all about the person sitting in the oval office. he's proven himself to be impulsive. he's not likely to change his behavior, being on twitter, as jeff ze

david: or whether the ftc should be investigating monopoly questions regarding the company? i'm sorry, that's to robert wolf. >> we're confusing things, bezos owns "washington post" not amazon, and i'm not sure that it has much to do with the amazon tax perspective with the internet. that being said, i think it does play well to his base. and i think it will put pressure on my guess is how people start talking about amazon. that being said, i think we're confusing a lot of different things with respect to president trump's tweets. david: gary, you don't think, is president trump going to allow his personal disdain for companies to affect decisions regarding regulatory issues in those companies? >> well, with that tweet, it kind of sort of looks like it. look, i have absolutely no problem with the president going after the media for the hypocrisy in plain sight. i don't like them mixing things together. what if amazon stock dropped 50 to $100 because of what he said? that affects shareholders, affects americans. you got to be very careful, a fine line between markets and what he says and the politics of it.

going to basically, david perdue, david perdue, they're going to hold their nose and go ahead and vote for the skinny repeal legislation? >> well, to dana's point, wolf, we have the five senators that are going to make this bold statement that they can't support the bill unless they can be assured it's going to go to conference. it's not reserved to these five senators. i've talked to a number of republican senators today. in fact, every republican senator that i've talked to today said that they do not want this bill to become law. the skinny repeal. that they only want to use it as a vehicle to get into the conference committee where they can hash it out with their house colleagues and come up with something that is something that's a little bit more pal lathable, both a repeal and a replacement. i talked specifically to mike rounds of south dakota who said that he has great concerns that if the skinny repeal were passed into law that it would really disrupt the insurance markets and also be dangerous for medicaid. he definitely doesn't want it to become law. the fact that you see a group of very powerful republican senators, and these are all well
