david: kevin cirilli joining us. coming up, islamic state plans responsibility for the attack in london. someone joins us. and the president of ceo north america. the lone wolfbloomberg. ♪ ♪ david: this is bloomberg markets, trump's first 100 days. let's get a check on where the market stand this afternoon. here is abigail doolittle. reporter: 40 minutes after we checked in, we saw what we saw a this morning basically unchanged. it was mixed, the nasdaq had turned lower, but much smaller gains than what we had been looking at. here is the s&p 500. it has been up nearly half a percent, but we see the index took a leg lower around 1:00. appears that short agitation, the bearish agitation for investors was a 10 year tip-off. that was disappointing. one interpretation that could be this, a treasury that protects against inflation, the readings are not that high, they don't need that rejection. that could be a bearish reading on the whole inflation trade, another way of saying the reflation investors are hoping for may not happen. looking at the 10 year yield, we see something similar, that saying bond had been rallying, trading three basis points around 1:00 has

see the beginning, as david was saying, they're trying to broaden what the president said, which is not accurate. we can all read his tweets. and where the white house goes here, wolfo congress. originally, when they were trying to get rid of the story after the president tweeted that saturday morning, they said, you know, we want congress to investigate. well, be careful what you wish for because congress is investigating. and we saw, you know -- we saw lindsey graham today making it very clear -- senator graham, that we need to get to the bottom of this. joe manchin said it to you and he said he wants to know is there a criminal investigation going on and was there a warrant out to wiretap donald trump's phones. and all of this will lead to an investigation of the question of collusion and the question of why the intelligence community has been looking into links between russia and those in the orbit of donald trump. and so i think what the white house has to do now, they've already made it clear they're kind of trying to sort of broaden what the president said, but now the white house has to let congress do its oversight because actually they asked for it. >> al

david? >> [ inaudible ]. he started out this administration with such a powerful weapon. his twitter account was followed by all these people that believe whatever he said. the more he cries wolfand keeps turning it up to 10, 11 to get attention and it turns out not to be true, it's going to hurt him. >> it took years. you've been covering him a long time to finally acknowledge that barack obama was born in hawaii. >> that's right. and he barely admitted it at that when he finally came out in that press conference at his new hotel here in d.c. but if there is no evidence and it shows that he was not wiretapped, it basically leaves him on an island all alone here. there is no one else that is making these claims, so, i think what will be interesting to see what he does next. he could either back off the claims, like you said, just ignore it, let it go. he could apologize, sean spicer indicated today probably not going to happen. we'll see. but interesting sean spicer also said we're not going to necessarily accept the findings if we have a problem with the conclusions. we'll let it be known. that is giving us a big clue how he could react. >> it is interesting. he could be on a

wolf. >> thank you. >>> the president promised action on a whole range offishes from immigration to repealing and replacing obamacare. let's talk with our panel. retired air force analyst is with us and david gregory and another reporter is with us. you said you'd be watching for things like immigration reform in the president's address, how he is going to pay for the wall along the u.s./mexico border, other sensitive issues. did you get the specifics in that speech you were looking for? >> no. presumably that's what they're going to be talk about, today when he talks about the president having the meeting with all the leaders. those are the details to talk about. no, he didn't talk about obamacare. how do you expand access, expand choice, and lower the cost as he said he would be able to do. this wall, it's $20 billion. he called it the great, great wall in terms of it being built in the next couple of months, but how do you do that if you're going to raise defense spending by 10%. he also talked about defending education and funding vouchers and school choice. how do you pay for that if you're cutting everywhere else. as a lot of democrats have said, the devil is in the details and as of

david gregory. the justice department missed the deadline to provide evidence of a tap. the house leaders say they see zero indication it actually happened, so what is the white house's next move? >> i don't know, wolfredibility blow to this white house and this president. but to upping the antiand saying put up or shut-up from one president to a former president is really stunning, from the press secretary to advisors circling the wagons, absent any evidence is really going to hurt america's credibility and this president's credibility. you have lindsey graham, the intention committee chairs of both parties saying there's nothing hear. if this was an overly broad charge then it contradicts, and it's a mess, i don't know where they go from here other than backing down completely. >> how do you explain press secretary sean spicer saying he is extremely confident that the president's assertions will be vindicated. how do you explain that >> they should know. he can present this evidence if he wants to. what's so damming about this is he's either not telling the truth and hasn't been or there's evidence of a warrant and a reason why there was some kind of surveillance of him and his team. remember this
