the crash happened at davis street northbound shortly after 3:00 this morning. and the latest word from chp now is that they're diverting northbound traffic off the davis vote exit to international -- street exit to international boulevard. you can head over to 98 and get back onto the freeway from there. an extra long wait to get to work if you're trying to bet there on time. probably use 580. all green on the sen sores right now between oakland and that area. big riggings also aoutlawsed to use that -- rigs also aoutlawsed to use 580 as well. they just issued a second traffic alert this time in hercules. it is countercommute. it's the eastbound lanes of 80 approaching willow avenue. two car crash. ling and one maybe on fire. so -- crash. and one may be on fire. fortunately not a huge delay out of pee knoll but it could cause problems especially westbound. again only lanes blocked though countercommute direction. let's go outside and show you a quiet commute. the bay bridge. so far everything looks pretty good right now into san francisco. from oakland. san mate

this is just north of davis street here in san leandro. you can see traffic is simply at a standstill right now. as we push down here, you can see all those flashing lights. those are the first responders dealing with this multicar crash. a chain reaction crash involving a total of seven cars. for some video from a short time ago. we understand one of those cars burst into flames this morning. we also do understand that at least one person had to be freed from a car. that was involved in this crash. had to be freed with the jaws of life by first responders. several people have been injured out here. we do understand, but the chp has not been able to tell us the severity of those injuries this morning.
