in the races since his injury at daytona a little more than a year ago, since he came back 31 races, 6 wins. 21 top fives. that's two out of three and he led over 1200 laps in that time. he came back with a vengeance. he missed those 11 races and got back in and raced like he was ready to race. didn't come back too soon. came back just right. healed up. good shape. putting them down. >> you hate for anybody to go out for those reasons but interesting perspective that you have on the sport when you're watching it from home. i think that, you know, he has a greater appreciation for being a race car driver and he realized you know what, i need to be more patient and i need to, you know, be kinder and be, you know, more involved as a team and the whole job and he has come back a much better race car driver -- he was always really talented but now smart being smooth, making really good decisions. >> the thing about this last week he ran 750 laps at martinsville. this weekend he's going to run 800 miles this weekend here at texas. >> hey, guy, it's a package deal, though, with this 18 car.
