been quite a day here where temperatures in the peninsula have been warmer than conditions in daytona beach florida. we don't usually see our first 80 degree day until june. this certainly is very rare. in san francisco, we never even average an 80 degree day throughout the entire year. a nice treat on this season opener night. weather headlines show more near record setting temperatures for friday. saturday, unfortunately, showers will come back, and look at those temperatures srting to crash, we're going to see them drop down into the 60s. let's get a look,igh pressure keeping is it warm here. i think the giants are bringing this california heat back. 6:00 a.m. on friday, we're looking at mid-50s from th north to south bay. a mild start. as we advance this into the late morning hours, we'll see things pop up to the mid-70s, in the south bay. let's get a look at our extended forecast in just a moment, what you're going to find are these low 80s for one more day on your friday, and then as we hit saturday and sunday, those temperatures go down, and showers also come back into the mix. so on

members of the daytona beach, florida, community celebrated recovery with a motorcycle ride, entertainment, testimonies, and information on supportive services. the free celebration started with a bike ride to the beautiful halifax river for a d.a.r.e. xtreme stunt rider show with a prevention message to young people. also included in the event was a talent contest, toys for kids, food, and fun! mohave county substance abuse treatment education and prevention partnership and the kingman area meth coalition hosted a parade walk to support recovery in kingman, arizona. shirts were given out to all walkers, and there was an opportunity to carry signs promoting treatment. waianae women in recovery held a special recovery campout for women and children. there were activities for women, teens, children, and families as a whole. a fun and sober time was had by all. and this extreme weather, warmer on the peninsula today than daytona beach, florida.elievable, we usually don't even hit our first 80-degree day until we head into june. lets get to those graphics and you can see what we're looking at tonight it's going to be mild and a little bit breezy out there. for friday, still warmer than average with 70s along the coast and through the peninsula in our inland spots, still could have those 80-degree temperatures. we're going to watch that wind closely, as that could bring things down a little co l.erfor iday wntithigh pressure in control. then we're in for some bigger weekend changes coming our way, that area of high pressure is going to weaken and eventually we'll see some showers coming back. let's get a quick look at tomorrow morning. we'll start with close to 60 degrees in the south bay and low to mid-50s in the north bay. maybe even a little bit of patchy fog. by 11:00 a.m. tomorrow, a big, big advance in those temperatures. low to mid-70s for the south bay already, so we're going to be in that 80-degree territory yet again
