this apartment is on deacon street near telegraph. i heard back from berkeley police this morning.nsidering the deaths of these two people found inside the apartment as suspicious. we also spoke to the next-door neighbor who came out briefly this morning. she says it was a man and woman, a married couple, husband and wife, who lived in the apartment for about 7 years. the man and the woman and their two cats were found dead here around 1:00 yesterday afternoon. and berkeley investigators found no signs of foul play or forced entry or violence. they're considering the deaths here suspicious and it is a mystery as to what caused the deaths of these two people. berkeley police responded around 1:00 and discovered the two adults and cats dead inside. the residents were found dead in different parts of the apartment. the initial concern was that there was a chemical leak. so hazmat crews came out and tested for radiation, carbon monoxide and gas leaks and all of the tests came back negative. >> because it wasn't apparent what it was that the people died from. that's why we ended up call
