, what was the most enjoyable part of your life as a professor and/or dean? >> i love working with the professors, fighting for the law school within the university system, fighting for better budgets, fighting for better scholarships for students, reconnecting our alums to the institution which was great pathway for our students to become who they wanted to be but all that was tied up in trying to ensure a legal education was one that didn't narrow opportunities for students but created more, meaning my legal education was very much felt like i had to be an attorney, i had to practice and there were other things i could do but the current was putting me in one direction. what i felt a lot of pride in working to do was be at state law school 10 years ago, trying to broaden that and define our work as creating the next gen sugar generation of that gets for justice however students chose to use that degree and similarly broadening access to the law school not just to young people wanting to earn a law degree or others in a career but journalists and others, man
