i'm deb davidson for erin: thank you. a man accused of dousing his mother's porch in gasoline and lighting it on fire is due in court today. police arrested 27-year-old justin kane as he was trying to house. ray brewer is live outside of the court in salem with the details. ray: police say that kane had an argument with his mother at her home on north main street in of hand. investigators were called to the home at 3:00 while he lit the porch on fire while his mother was watching. kane ran off, triggering a search involving several agencyies. police say someone picked him up. they were able to track his cell phone and arrested him. investigators say they were lucky. >> the residents was a due flex that had been in the property. the arson obviously could have been gotten really bad, especially using a propellant such as gasoline. hurt. kane is set to be arraigned here in salem. police are trying to him up. out who sparked a fire in a vacant apartment building. when they arrived, they found fire on the back of the building.
