you're focusing on the incumbent debbie wasserman schultz and challenger tim canova. has this become a primary to watch? >> the fundamental reason is that canova raised a tremendous amount of money. he outraised debbie wasserman schultz. it has given him some credibility and it has allowed him to open up a lot of offices and bring in a lot of paid staff including canvassers going door-to-door. onhas allowed him to be broadcast television even in the expensive fort lauderdale market. >> who is he and what does he bring to the table? >> he's a professor of law and public finance at southeastern university down here in fort lauderdale. he is a newcomer to political campaigns. it never before run for office. he comes from the bernie sanders move in. he was a big supporter of bernie sanders. he supported him before sanders really took off in the presidential campaign this year. that has helped fuel his candidacy. in many ways, it has been like a repeat of the sanders-hillary clinton campaign. againstun a campaign wasserman schultz similar to the campaign sanders ran against

hillary clinton, as you know, she's backing debbie wasserman schultz. -- hillary clinton won your district by a huge, huge 37-point margin. how do you combat that? do you believe you have a realistic chance of beating congresswoman debbie wasserman schultz tomorrow? >> well, we know we do. hillary clinton and bernie sanders are not on the ballot. in fact, back in march when we had the presidential primary, bernie sanders didn't even have a field operation in our district and i think he only had one field office in all of south florida. you compare that with our operation. we have the largest field operation in the entire country for any house campaign. we have four field offices in the district, dozens of field organizers and hundreds of volunteers. and we're knock iing on 10,000 doors a week right now and having conversations with the voters and it's making all the difference. the very few polls that have been out already, they showed a tight race but there are also polls that are only surveying likely voters. what we're finding is a lot of unlikely vot
