deborah roberts is here with a preview. thank you for your time. deborah: good to be with you. we were fascinated by what we found out when we started to look into this case. so many people had heard about this botched robbery in nevada and didn't know exactly what happened. tonight we let you meet some of the men who went along with o.j. simpson that night and many of them paid a hefty price and they lost friendships and they lost relationships with family members, they lost homes and lost their living. many of them of course have great regrets about that and they tell us how they came to be. it's not exactly what you think. it was not this big planned, organized kind of thing, a heist. instead, some of these guys didn't even know what they were getting into until they got there that night. we also talked to them about the prospects for o.j. simpson getting paroled. what do they think about it? you'll hear their thoughts on who they think o.j. simpson is and what they think could happen to him next week when the parole hearing happens. we thought of the other trial as the tria

abc's deborah roberts on the likely move out of prison. >> reporter: it was the image of that white bronco that first transfixed the nation. friday, june 17th, 1994. simpson, due to turn himself in at 11:00am, seven hours later, he was in that slow speed chase across la's freeways. before 9:00 p.m., 9 hours, 47 minutes later, he finally surrendered. afterwards, the trial of the century. still riveting the country decades later. the fx movie. the espn documentary. and today, 21 years and 9 days later -- >> mr. simpson, i do vote to grant parole when eligible. >> reporter: but what will simpson's life be like come october? where will he live? >> you're requesting to live in florida. >> reporter: florida near his children. if granted, corrections officials said in a statement today, he'll be assigned a florida probation officer and will be supervised in accordance with parole. he was later found liable of that double murder in a civil trial and ordered to pay $33.5 million to the brown and goldman families. the goldmans say they have received less than 1% of that. as for simpson, he'll go on
