i am deborah weiner. we're learning more about the deadly stabbing police initially called the suspicious death. it happened on pilot avenue yesterday morning. sheldon dutes is live at the scene with the latest. -- it happen on violet avenue yesterday morning. >> police are hoping surveillance the deal will help them to track down the killer. they have not released the name of the victim because they're waiting to contact family members. the 58-year-old victim was found inside his apartment yesterday morning. it is not known if there was forced entry to the home. detectives are still trying to determine if the victim may have known his killer. detectives are relying on the community for more clues. >> we're hoping somebody will come forward, a resident or someone who happened to be walking by, and saw something that did not seem right. hopefully that will lead us down and investigate a path. -- investigative path. >> if you have more information, call the police department. >> in baltimore city police off
