i didn't learn that i decease -- was deceased in 2008. 2008 was when the problems started happening but i wasn't aware of what was causing them. that is what caused me to go to the social security office. the first time i found out i was listed as deceased was after my accident the insurance company settled and i went to a new bank and opened an account. and they were happy to open an account to take my money when i went back three days later to open a savings account, they ran me through the system, the bank manager came over and ran me through the system and said we can't help you today. and i said why not. and she said because information we have reported you as deceased. and i demanded to know who was reporting the information and also where it was coming from and supposedly what date i died. they absolutely refused to tell me anything. bylaws and under fcra i thought i was entitled to that information, however the bank refused to give it to me and when later i found out chex systems provided that information, they still refused to provide me with anything. so april of 2010 was when
