my name's nicole deford and i'm a senior product manager in digital for al jazeera america. i was born in thailand, grew up in hong kong and singapore and graduated high school there. i think the most rigorous assignment i've ever been a part of is actually what we're doing right now. they're building a network from the ground up, and al jazeera is a really great place to be right now. there are a lot of stories out there that are under-covered that people really want to see in the news. we're going to tell stories in a new and different, exciting way, and i think people are going to be really surprised and impressed with what they see.
