good evening, deidre. >> good evening, bret. investors bought some of the tech stocks that have fallen so much in the last few sessions. facebook, apple, netflix, alphabet google, microsoft all closed higher. still a lot of long-term concerns about tech, though, with specific companies facing potential regulation. so facebook, one example of that. it announced a few quick fixes today presumably before mark zuckerberg testifies in front of congress on april 10th. so facebook made its privacy controls easier to find and easier to alter and cut off certain customer targeting companies from the platform. tech companies face potential government challenges, investor pressure and public peer review. apple c.e.o. tim cook took a swipe at facebook at a conference saying the best regulation is no regulation, self-regulation. however, i think we're way beyond that here. facebook stock did close higher today. but it is down about 10% for the month. apple, speaking of tim cook, faces more than a dozen class action lawsuits. consumer groups
