let's move down here to dekalb county. this is the most democratic suburb just east of atlanta, 83%. president biden had that winning the state four years ago. the vice president running behind that now, but that is not even 3000 votes, so we have a ways to go before we worry about any comparison there. clayton county, atlanta airport, south of atlanta, big democratic stronghold. this was critical to biden coming back in georgia as they counted the votes in 2020. as the count went on into the day and the day after that, clayton county was one of the places where joe biden got a lot of votes. 85% for the vice president. about three quarters of the count. 76% right there. how does that compare to 2020? about the same. you get 85 when you round that up. here we go in georgia again. as you go through it, you've got a very competitive race. that one is competitive. i want to look at michigan. we have not spent any time here yet. only 6% of the vote in, so be careful. you are trying to look and see what happens. this is kent cou

you write in your article, the highest early voting turnout isn't in democratic strongholds like dekalb countypopulated rural counties where republicans often reign supreme. how much of that is a shift from years past? >> it is a dramatic shift. we don't know if these are actual new voters, we don't know if this is actually increasing the size of the electorate, the size of the pie, so to speak, but we know many of them are election day voters who are now voting early. and in georgia, in particular, republicans had not been pushing presidential voters to the polls early. in 2020, it was downplayed, neglected, even insulted. donald trump spread lies about election fraud and early voting. now it is being embraced. now it is being talked about as something that, hey, why let democrats build this big early lead and have republicans have to come from behind on election day. so now both parties are embracing it. we don't know if this is going to change anything about the outcome of the race, as you just said, it could make election day that much smoother with fewer voters casting ballots that day. >

dekalb county, 88%, another huge margin for harris.hose of you who stayed with us, this will be a small payoff. early in the night, we talked about this area right here, the georgia low country, savannah, chatham county. this is a county that has the least amount reported right now. 80%, still 20% left to go, and harris does have a very strong lead down there. she really has to get all of the remaining votes, a very large percentage of the remaining votes in these places but this is why the associated press has not called this state yet. taking a quick look around other states. the blue wall. the trump campaign is saying they can win it. we see we are getting more and more results around philadelphia county. look at that margin that harris has. enormous margin but not at 78% coming in -- but now at 78% coming in. to compare to the past, right now, she's behind where biden was in philadelphia which was also behind where clinton was. that is not where they want to be. she has to do better with this with the remaining vote in philadelphia

you can say what about these 1300 votes in dekalb county?cases don't matter as much. let's keep in mind the trump campaign filed a fair amount of lawsuits after 2020. they were dismissed outright even though that was a close election. i think we will have a good feeling as to who the winner is in just a couple of days after the election. i think we will know on election night who won the senate, which is important from a fiscal perspective. the litigation, i have no way of knowing yet. as long as the margin is wide enough the market will not have to worry too much. annmarie: the financial markets think the senate is going to go read. how big could it be for the republicans? isaac: if we learned anything in the past five cycles were so, republican senate candidates find a way to underperform when the market thinks they are going to over perform. -- overperform. my base case is you have republicans with 52 seats in the senate. you can make a plausible argument it can get up to 53. there's an outside chance of 54. i don't know if i care that mu

we talk about dekalb county, the suburbs outside of the atlanta metro area.t i think was most interesting is wanted right in here. what do i mean by that? this is several southeastern states that kind of compromised this, but known as the black belt. these are smaller counties, more rural counties, black farmers. the darker the county that you see here, the higher the level of black voters in that county. where did donald trump overperform in georgia? >> a lot of those counties. >> up and down these counties. these are not huge counties, but these are the types of counties that democrats sought, including bill clinton went on a 2. 0 bubbas for bill area going out in more rural areas. black farmers were part of that. and in this area, they didn't need to just match margins from 2020, they needed to run them up significantly or in some of the more red counties, hold the majorities down. where there were black voters in more rural areas, of milwaukee, of philadelphia, of detroit, but in more rural areas as well, it is very clear that there was an underperformanc

fulton county, dekalb county, cobb county and others. these threats are non-credible.redible. but they are being investigated and as a result, some of the polling places may be temporarily were closed, voters turned away. speaking to a senior democrat down there in georgia watching this very carefully saying, they are hoping that voters will come back. anyone who might've been scared away in those periods of time will come back and will cast their ballots. some of those polling places also, jake, are being kept open a little bit after the top of the hour. so this is an ongoing situation that they are watching very closely because of where this is happening. this is happening in the parts of the state where the harris campaign and democrats need to drive up turnout among democratic leaning voters? so when you have polling places that are closed temporarily, that is a problem for them and they want to make sure to supporters end up coming back, jake. >> abby phillip, lets go down to dylan collins with the trump campaign. what are trump campaign eight going to be looking

we know we can report right now in a very important -- important county for democrats, dekalb county,extended for an undetermined amount of time because five precincts, it's reported there were bomb threats. we will watch out for important numbers and it may delay the decision in georgia. other things to look at, the state of indiana has closed most of its poles and an interesting county our team found popping up is hamilton county. 65% of the results are in in hamilton, suburban county north of indianapolis and right now you have harris just above donald trump. a lot of the early vote, they had a historic early vote in hamilton county. it doesn't mean she will win the county but look at her compared to democrats in the past in this county, outpacing clinton. this is the kind of turnout democrats want to see around the country. they don't expect to win indiana but we are trying to find places that have results. also looking at the house maps, we have a few house races being called. 11 out of 435, so we have a long way to go.
