now we are zooming into delaware, sussex county. this is where we have seen quite a bit of rainfall so far. but maybe not as much as other areas. right near georgetown we have seen over two inches and closer to the shore, to the delaware beaches just north of lewes, this is one area where we have seen about 2 1/2 inches. up in kent county, we have seen rainfall rates of so far at least 2 1/2 inches near riverview, 3 1/2 inches, not so much in new castle county but there is more rain on the way. right near glassboro, in new jersey, we have seen a little over three inches of rain. a little closer to hammonton, two inches. to berks county, close to an inch near reading but allentown, about 1 1/2 inches for most of that area. lancaster county has seen anywhere from about 2 to 2 1/2 inches possibly but the heavy rain is still falling in these areas. we do expect the totals to be going up through the rest of the evening. here's a look at future weather. as we go into the next couple hours the heavy rain continues. by 6:00 p.m. by 8:00, we

cape may county, delaware beaches, much of delaware bay. that persistent east wind plus the time for minor flooding. just high clouds as you can see there. the big action down to the south, and it's staying down to the south. just spinning around down there. everything is moving more east-west, and not coming up the coast. the computer models that have been suggesting that this rain stay to the south seem to be the ones that are winning out here. now, the clouds come up, the rain gets closer. maybe grazes extreme southern delaware. the chances of coming up to the philadelphia area continue to look pretty small and get even smaller as we see the new data. you can see the clouds up there, but the rain isn't anywhere close, and the storm down to the south, this is the european model that's been consistently felt with this rain. looks like it's going to win out. the clouds are there, though. both days, a lot of clouds around. high temperatures about 75 degrees. right about average for this time of year. low humidity. nice and comfortable. 60 fo

so anyone coming from say delaware county, passing the stadium area, you're not able to exit at least right now. firefighters blocking the ramp there to the walt whitman bridge and the ben franklin. you have to go up to the next exit which would be washington avenue, and flip that u-turn or come back delaware avenue. again, we will rollback, take a look here, bumper to bumper to bumper pretty much from again broad street the stadium area all the way up to the scene as we go to the maps, again, if you are headed out the front door, there is another look from one of the penndot cameras here, but again, you're not able to get from 95 north to the walt
