this is kent county in delaware, this is delaware bay and this is cumberland county. all of this activity is pushing off at about 25 miles per hour it's just more heavy rain on top of the heavy rain that fell overnight. some locations in south jersey and delaware have already picked up over 2 inches of rain. obviously this is only going to add to the problems down there. minor flooding occurring in poor drainage area. there is a flood advisory. this next stop takes us through chester county from exton in malvern, more steady rain, this is also lifting off to the northeast at about 25 miles per hour. so this band, this is what we're waiting for here. this will arrive probably within the next hour or two and it's going to run right up the 95 corridor from dc and baltimore all the way up through philadelphia and eventually into new york city and hartford, connecticut. we'll catch somewhat of a break by midday. that swings through later this afternoon. on top of that we have a dense fog advisory. it's in eveng until 7:00 a.m. it could be extended right now the visibilitie

this is camera view from wilmington, delaware of i-95. and that is location where we may see some issues. for your morning commute we're talking between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. mostly rain ipsuffix county along the jersey shore. look at this area of pink, that's where icing is possible. and it does not take much ice at all to make for very slippery roads, primarily snow for upper portions. those are locations where some accumulation is possible. this is just one model, but doing a nice job of showing that accumulation of ice is not high. but areas like chester county, delco, down into south jersey and especially new castle county, even just a few hundredths of an inch can be slippery for your tires. as for snow potential, likelihood we wasn't see anything other than a brief dusting before the ice turn over along the 95 corridor. it's farther to the north along allentown where we could see 3 to 4 inches. this model going 3 1/2 and over half a foot in mount poconos. these are areas where the snow may lastonger and then icing wi

theitesing you can see in delaware and south jersey. but also notice that's just rain falling in delaware and south jersey right along the coastline. that's warmer air that's going to eventually push into the rest of the area. i mean the entire area will see a warm up during the day. so the conditions will be changing, but this icing through cumberland county and atlantic county right nu, that's going to be a great concern for the morning commute. so there's a large-air of ice for the morning commute, while it'll start off as snow and accumulating for the lehigh valley county and berks county and the upper suburbs we'll see it eventually change over, too. any icing is going to be washing away, and not expecting a lot of ice, but really don't need a lot to make for some slippery conditions. and at 8:00 this morning still a potential for some icing in philadelphia and pushes to the north. we get a break from precipitation this morning but that break does not last. look at the rain sweeping into the area, and it's going to be a heavy rain
