years we have been in a lot of discussions and meeting with sfmta ofern how to solve the parking delima at sfgh. including the concept of the expanding the garage rchlt in jan of this year the sfmt director [inaudible] said they would recommend we go before the full bord of directors to take this concept of the parking garage and also working with them to find other solutions possibly so we will go before them in march to try to get that approved. this friday we'll go before the policy and guv rns committee to get additional readings on what they are thinking. there is resolution in front of you. that basically says we encourage you with very strong language sfmt board of included feedback from san francisco general hospital. it's the s [inaudible] the concept to go forward then we'll have to look at finalizing [inaudible] 5, how we do financing strategies for the garage. >> if i can jump in, the resolution was reviewed the prezitation was reviewed and the resolution got feedback [inaudible] >> happy to answer any questions if you have them. >> yes, commissioner [inaudible] >> thank you

in the long run all parties are better off if violence is avoided and our delima or pickle is how to get the other guy refrain from violence at the same time you do. if you are the only one to beat your swords into plow shares you are a sitting duck for invasion by the bad guys. everybody has to beat the sword into plow shares at the same time. you can see the forces in cases of human experience gradual solves the problem like other things in nature like hunger we have dealt with and all of these forces increased the material and cognitive incentive to avoid violence. regardless of the correct explanation of fr the decline of violence, i think the implications for understanding the human condition are profound. they call for a reother thanrientation of violence from a realistic to empairem emperil mindset. we might ask what are we doing right because we have been doing something right and it would be good to find out exactly what it is. thank you very much.
