people were hit by gunfire here along the pedestrian bridge that leads from church street into delores parkorning, police are continuing to search for whoever opened fire on them. it happened just about 3:00 in the afternoon yesterday, as plenty of people were out and about enjoying the park. two of the shooting victims remain hospitalize this had morning. one is a man who we're told is in critical condition. the third shooting victim has non-life-threatening injuries. and he is now back at home. according to authorities. people who live nearby the park say there have been quite a few problems lately at delores park. drug dealing, gang activity and shootings. >> i have reported from war zones before. this is not a typical event to have happen, you know, down the street from where i live. it doesn't happen in the middle of the day at delores park. things are changing rapidly in the city, in in neighborhood in particular. you have a lot more desperation. >> reporter: so far police have not revealed what the motive may have been for yesterday afternoon's shooting. some witnesses reported seein

around 3:05 this afternoon, san francisco police responded to calls of shots fired in the area of delores park. upon arriving at the scene we located three victims on the foot bridge just on cumberland and church. witnesses describe chaos in the aftermath as the hundreds of people around the park ran for their lives.
