. >> reporter: tense moments thursday after an unruly first class passenger forced a delta airlines flightaded to beijing to return to seattle officials say roughly 45 minutes after takeoff, a man aboard delta flight 129 assaulted a flight attendant. several passengers then helped restrain the alleged attacker until the plane landed back in seattle. sources tell nbc news, plastic handcuffs or a device like zip ties were used to restrain the passenger. with the incident creating frustration and rattling nerves as passengers waited to board another flight. the airport released a statement overnight, reading, in part, two were treated and transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. the subject was taken into custody by police. the seattle fbi says the 23-year-old man is from florida and was removed from the aircraft shortly after 7:00 p.m. local time. law enforcement officials say the incident is not considered to be a national security threat. >> there. now the fbi is investigating and we are expecting to get more details about the incident in the charges when the charges
