assaulting a woman on the highline canal trail- might be tied to another attack. 25 year old demarcus bookhart is accused of attacking a woman last friday on the trail. that woman ma picture as he left. according to a police report, bookhart told officers he got into a fight with the woman - when her dog tried to bite him. he faces charges of 2nd degree assault. another assault happened on the trail about a week ago. police say bookhart could be connected to that attack- but wouldn't confirm much more at this point. homelessness in boulder and denver is a problem. but some neighbors in boulder say- they don't want to bring that problem even closer to home. organizers want to build a homeless "housing first" idea. it means- homeless people are given a home as a starting point to get them on track with the rest of their lives. no requirement for sobriety or a job. organizers say- housing is a basic need and a right. but neighbors are worried about bringing even more homeless people into their neighborhood. sober homeless center could open in boulder around this time in 2019 if it passes its site
