democrats line. caller: thank you. i'm a 66-year-old social worker democrat. and listening to this for years. the problem is i hear a lot that the republicans who don't like jordan. the one thing all of us agree on is we got to move on. i'm also one that sort of thinks not a bad idea for the republicans to go off on their little retreat and hash it out. but also like my friends friend from tennessee -- my friend from tennessee who called a few calls ago on the other line, i think my conspiracy theory its a way to shut down the government in a few weeks with all this going on. i don't know who you get, who is bipartisan enough to work on some sort of one of those old reagan-ites in way where everybody yells at each other during the day and hashed it out at night. host: got to. hear from bobby in texas, republican line. caller: hi. i'm glad you took my call. until the democrats took over the white house and the legislation. all these people come in here. we have no idea where these people are from. we have a lot of ideas. host: how does that relate to the house

caller: i'm a democrat i think the democrats really missed an opportunity last week because what they need to do and don't had the opportunity until this weekend, vote for someone on the republican side that no republican can vote for a democrat and needed to vote on the republican side to be speaker outside of jeffries, they want him first. they need to vote for mchenry. all voted for mchenry they would have gotten three republicans on the other side to say mchenry. if they had done that, you finally get on the speaker that is willing to work with democrats and what is disappointing with jordan, the majority of people want republicans. that's not true. the minority of the people keep winning the problem. that's not how democracy works. jordan was the minority of the first vote. scalise should have had their vote. that's how democracy works. the gerry man deering of the electoral maps they don't want to acknowledge that 10 million people voted more for biden and say trump, trump, he was the loser every time. host: nicholas in maine on our line for others. caller: i just wish they can
