. >>> welcome to nbc news 10 at 11:00, i'm denice nakano. a northeast philadelphia store owner shoots a man who robbed him. an innocent bystander is caught in the cross fire and neighbors walk away with the cash. aundrea cline-thomas joins us live to walk us through what happened here, aundrea? >> reporter: imagine this -- a man comes into a laundromat with a life. he demands the store owner gives him $2,000. when the coast is clear, police say the store owner grabbed his gun and tried to get his money back. the surveillance video shows the 42-year-old thief wearing what looks like a green jacket running away from the launder center on north 5th street, he drops the thousands of dollars he's stolen while being chased by the store owner, who has a gun. >> i saw one of the guys running with this pack of money. when this guy ran he told him three times "stop, stop, stop." >> reporter: the thief rounds the corner and the owner unleashes five rounds. >> next thing you know i hear boom, boom, boom. >> reporter: two shots hit the thief in the chest
