i'm denise nakano. chester's mayor is calling for calm after last night's triple shooting saying violence will not be top rated in this city. nbc 10's drew smith has been following the story since it broke last night and drew, you spoke to one of the shooting victims. >> denise, we just sat down with janeane shipley who just got out of the hospital. she still has a bullet lodged in her shoulder. she was very emotional about all of this and she also brought us to the family of the victim, the youngest victim here, the 14-year-old who died. we have this picture and you can see her posing with his cousin who was also shot in the shooting last night. the victim who died, his name is naz nichols and his cousin is recovering at the hospital. the family says the teens were going to the corner store last night on pine lane and it was around 8:00 when police said dozens of bullets began flying this and the intended targets were believed to be adults sitting in the car and the boys were also hit asand so was jane

nbc 10's denise nakano is live in olney where she learned details. >> reporter: sources close to the investigation tell me the streets commissioner went after that man because he believed that man kissed his wife. he turned himself in to the 35th district, into police here, to face those charges. a sunday gathering at this home on american street in olney turned into a brawl on the front porch. and now philadelphia streets commissioner donald carlton faces assault charges. >> he never gets out of control, like, they usually keep to themselves. >> reporter: this neighbor witnessed the argument that escalates into a fight on december 6th, 2015. that's when a north philadelphia man says carlton dragged him out of the front door accusing the victim who is a longtime family friend of his wife of kissing her. >> i just heard, like, a loud noise and people screaming. when i looked out the window, because you can see from there, i seen someone, like, falling over the steps. >> reporter: the alleged victim told police carlton threw him into metal porch furniture and beat him with his fists. h
