well, look, dennis, it's all about the fed. we have the san francisco federal reserve president mary daily commenting on the final meeting of the year. she said, quote, it's premature in my mind to take anything off the table. investors are expecting the fed to make these rate hikes smaller going forward. we're expecting 50 basis point hike on december 14. the fomc releasing minutes from the november meeting tomorrow, dennis. what might they tell us and do you buy into this market expectation that now the fed hikes are going to start getting smaller? >> well, i think that clearly we're going to go 50 basis points in this meeting. i don't think there's any chance of them moving 75 basis points. the question shall be what happens after the turn of the year when we have new voting members taking place, several will be doveish compared to the hawks we'll be losing. perhaps when they have the turn of the year, we might go to a 25 basis point increase. i've said for a long period of time when people scoffed at me six and seven months
