joining me is denny martin who is the chief medical officer there in east lansing. and you said this morning that five of the students injured in the shooting and being treated that they are all at your hospital, and being treated by your teams and still in critical condition, and can you give us any detail with the caveats of the privacy and the nature of the surgeries that were required? >> yes, five individuals that were brought here, and four of the five required immediate surgical intervention, an without going into the specifics of the injuries, i will say that it took a team of numerous an head to anathe -- anesthesiologists and other surgical interventionists to be taken to the icu teams to take care of them. >> and do you have a prognosis of them or how they will fare? >> it just happened about 15 hours ago, and the condition of all five are under the care of the trauma and the critical care teams here. but there's varied conditions of all five and some are more critical than others the, but again, it is quite early. it is quite early in the recovery from t
