galena more of the same. 54 in denton and annapolis at 56 this morning. and we look at the reason why. well, we have high pressure still at the surface. but this will begin to slide off toward the east and once it does that, you are going to get a clockwise flow around that and temperatures will warm up as we go into the afternoon. so we will be a little warmer as we go through the day. but, still seasonable levels. we are watching the cold front back off toward the west. and that is going to be a player in the game as we go into the weekend. but we do have tropical storm nadine. the wind sustained at 45 miles an hour. and look at the curvature staying away from the u.s. and that's what we like. this is forecasted to become a category one hurricane. and as we go through time, and as we look at the forecast as we head throughout the day, we can see the lunchtime temperature coming in around 76 degrees. and we will warm things up. i am forecasting a high right around 81 degrees. so, that's where we should be now for this time of the year for the most part.

[applause] >> i am senior in high school in new york. for me, preventing suicide means helping my classmates to any feelings of anxiety. my classmates come to me when they have a problem. when classmate came with a problem she felt she could not handle alone. she was having trouble with other students. i connected her with a teacher she trusted, and the result things. we kept the student from reaching a point of crisis by creating an open community. this helped change the culture of our school. everyone has a role in suicide prevention. my role is to show strength as a peer leader. i'm happy to be here as part of the national strategy for suicide prevention. >> what i am about to tell you will feel like an open wound, but it is very poor. i suffer from pds d i sustained while on active duty. i'm also a suicide survivors. after serving i became unemployed and homeless. during my search for resources, and support, veterans services work limited to be caught a single parent and a woman

denton cooly and the founding of the texas heart institute. as i listened to the words said this morning, he chose wisdom over ignorance with respect to diagnosising cardiovascular disease, the most devastating killer of americans killing a life every 33 seconds, 2,600 lives each day and nearly one million lives each year. dr. cooly was honored this past week with tributes from presidents george bush and president william jefferson clinton. over the years, he has been able to help men and women and children. he's done a magnificent job with respect to the amount of surgeries that have been performed. he performed more than 118,000 open heart operations, 258,000 cardiac cattryization and 1,270 heart transplants. the texas heart institute, along with st. luke's hospital, continues to serve the world and continues to do research to improve the lives of those who suffer from heart disease. dr. james willerson is the new c.e.o. his demeanor and temperament, his research abilities, his leadership has taken this great institution to the 21st century.
