jersey across most of delaware, down through ocean city and assateague and moving toward easton and denton. by 2:00 a.m., these are considered sustained wind forecast from the national hurricane center. by 2:00 a.m., they're forecasting potentially these very strong winds of 74 miles an hour to be in toward the metro, especially on the east side, southern maryland, the entire bay, the entire state of delaware, the southern half of new jersey with those other strong winds even by 8:00 going all the way out into eastern west virginia, going down almost to richmond, just past fredricksburg, going into the northern neck. this is 8:00 tomorrow morning. we're talking a very extended period of damaging wind gusts. even as we get into tuesday afternoon, we still could be looking at winds gusting at 2:00 60 or higher from d.c. north. as we get into the evening, that's when the winds maybe 40 to 50 in the gusts. you get the idea. this is going to be a long duration problem. even wednesday morning potentially some winds still gusting close to 40, 45 miles an hour. this is not going to be pretty. 46 i
