i mean, denver broke a record yesterday. phoenix did too. las vegas, my hometown did as well. as we head into this afternoon, my new hometown, san francisco's finally starting to see 70s in the forecast returning for our daytime highs today. we have 80s across the bay bridge over into oakland. still holding on tight to triple digit weather off into concord and antioch and down into livermore where yesterday we hit around 108 degrees which was the record for that local community. now as we extend all throughout this afternoon as you take a look below me, that pink color is showing that excessive heat warning that got extended by the national weather service until friday. the orange is showing a heat advisory still in effect until then too. we have 90s up in the north bay today. today is the day you are going to want to take it slow out there and continue to practice caution outside of course drink lots of water and wear sunscreen and limit your time outside if possible but many of us do work outside. so just find that shady shot throughout the afternoon hours and take it slow.
