denver. then police chased a suspect in a stolen car all the way into arapahoe county. let's get you right to it. i'm alan gionet. >> i'm britt moreno. thanks for joining us. we do have team coverage on jamie leary is live where police have found the stolen car near an apartment complex in centennial. shawn chitness is where the robbery and shooting happened in denver located at sheridan and mississippi. let's start with shawn this morning. >> reporter: britt, good morning. denver police were spending some time outside of this nightclub collecting evidence and of course keeping this area secure as they started their investigation. they were able to clear the area a couple of that, though. we understand this started before 2:00 a.m. where two men were robbed at gunpoint outside of the nightclub. one of them with serious injuries, taken to the hospital in critical condition, later told by police that that victim is stable. the other man, the other victim, not injured in that shooting. but the suspect was able to get away with the car. unclear if these three men met inside

right now denver police have champa straight shutdown from 16th, to 17th . they have been investigating for the past several hours in the parking lot of the renaissance hotel right here on champa. we know that two suspects were taken into custody after this deadly shooting. it started with a fight at about to 15:00 p. -- 2:15 p.m. this afternoon. officers heard about the fight. about shots being fired. two men taken to the hospital. one of the men died. the other receiving treatment. police said they got information that these two suspects were on an rtd bus. we got video from someone here denver police were able to get on the bus and get those people off the bus. we understand it was a man and a woman. denver police have asked us to blur their faces when the investigation is ongoing. at this point, we do not know who they are. one person was killed. another man is recovering at the hospital. we know that champa street is still shut down. we will let you know on social media as soon as that opens up. >> thank you. avoid the area if possible. >>> in 71 days,
