of covid-19. we brought together the departments interstate that are most powerfully affected. since the department of health and the department of education. in our emergency management agency and department of military, the key role in testing interstate . what we call economic recovery groups. sarath education group as any everyday . commissioners from our departmentlt of education ad department of health. because we are so interconnected departed and is how we developed leaving a leading strategy for preparing classrooms. we put together 80000 it sent to get one for every classroom and ship them to a request from interstate . through our emergency management agency. t every teacher gives the masks, gloves, face shields. disinfectant ticket and our intention is to continue that with two months. and i have that for the entire school year. that is one small way that we incorporate health and education. possibly this it is important to understanding our health perspective and or schools, and work independently in reporting what is happening in schools but we have developed a dashboard right through the depar

the department of health and social care says the system was launched when it was operationally readyng levels are kept under constant review. it says that local authorities have been an integral part of its response throughout and they have been receiving test, case and contact tracing data since the 24th ofjune. back in my front room i'm having more problems, struggling with the computer system that we use. the system we work with is quite possibly the most complicated system i have ever come across and essentially it is two different systems stuck together and you have to jump between them. and there are more glitches. today has been a total waste of time. i have not been able to log in for the entire shift. some password i always use. invalid e—mail password, they go. i get very few cases and when i took the system sometimes does not let you follow the map. buffer resources with another programme. i've no idea what that means. i'm regularly on the phone to team leaders and they tell me that similar issues are being reported by others. you just do not know what is going on and coul

health services block grant program. and advising the board of supervisors and the department of public health on any aspect of a local mental health program. reviewing and making recommendations regarding applicants for the appointment of a local director of mental health services, submits an annual report to the board of supervisors on the needs and the performance of the county's mental health system. and reviewing and commenting on the county's performance outcome data and the communicated findings to the california behavioral health planning council. so the reason that i mention all of these responsibilities is because this body is really charged with a gargantuan task when you think about all of that. i know that, supervisor ronen, when you're hearing all of that you're probably thinking, wow, that is something that would have been great to have somebody really be able to focus on. so in the face of our current behavioral health crisis, the b.h.c. must ensure that our programs are safe, adequate and meet the needs of our fellow san franciscans. i want to specifically to call out the body, it is uniquely empowered to co

health issue. this network of local health departments and the community partners is critical for reaching and supporting people of color and other parity populations. this is particularly important when we talk about e-minis asians at the local level. local health apartments are working with their community partners to disseminate credible respond.on and they are experts on the region and understand the unique needs of their community. next slide. 2017o has conducted a assessment of local health department amortization programs to identify and explore the many facets of the efforts to address e-minis asian -- immunizations. the 2017 assessment highlighted barriers as hesitancy and lack of confidence. it is a significant concern to local health departments immunization programs. to mobilizeive local health departments to combat vaccine hesitancy. next slide please. hesitancy has drawn the attention of a look health providers at all levels. the centers for disease control and prevention has designated opportunities for funding to address this public health threat so we can vaccinate with confidence. this
