at the jail, the department of public safety says, myers took a datamaster blood alcohol test and registered a point- 09---slightly above the legal standard for intoxication. myers has a history of alcohol-related driving offenses. in april 2005 while attending a conference in asheville north carolina, an offcer stopped myers' lexington county car and charged him with driving while impaired. that night, and there was an open beer can in his car. but he said he didn't know who left it there and was driving because he needed to get food for his wife--who suffered from crohn's disease. myers later pleaded guilty---and got a year's probation and $400 dollars in fines and court costs. in may 2012---a patrol officer stopped him for weaving on old chapin road in lexington county. he later pleaded guilty to having an open container and paid a $155 dollar fine. the latest incident raises new questions---about how myers got home, how the patrol found the car and how this might affect his future. legal experts tell me that despite the 2005 case---this new incident, if it leads to a conviction---would s
