question because we just went through a kind of a national experience with another trial in terms of derek chauvino the witnesses and testimony. so i think you're right that it does, in fact, you know, maybe the level of empathy that we would normally have toward survivors when they're giving us these very salacious and violent details of his assaults, would be increased. i do think just by reading the stories, i mean, the details are so atrocious. and this is important to think we've already been socialized to understand these allegations because of the documentary "surviving r. kelly," as well as the really brilliant reporting over the last decade and a half. so we do have a sense of these testimonies. we've heard a lot from victims over the years. so this is almost like a kind of tap stone or culminating moment for them to be heard, for them to be believed, and then for some version of justice to be meted out in this moment. >> i'm curious your opinion on this because there is something, again, that mostly lives on social media. but it has to come from somewhere. it's not real life, but it does
